Our Muslim Burial Ground

At Bluebell Muslim Cemetery, we know that when families come to us, they need clear guidance and gentle support. Our Muslim burial ground is arranged with dignity and care, with every detail shaped by faith and respect. From Qibla orientation to on-site Ghusl and Kafan, we provide the facilities and availability to help families lay their loved ones to rest without unnecessary delay.

Families may choose plots within the Hussain Hashim Memorial Garden, the more secluded Private Family Gardens, or our Woodland Burials for a natural setting. We can also create private sections for large community pre-purchases where appropriate, so relatives and members of the same jamaat can rest together.

In addition, we now offer the Gardens of Noor, a dedicated charitable area for Lawaari (unclaimed) burials at a reduced rate; please enquire for details.

Each option is maintained with care, reflecting the values of faith, family and remembrance.

Woodland Burials

Within our Muslim burial ground, we offer woodland Muslim burial plots set within ancient woodland as a peaceful, natural alternative to traditional burial. Graves sit among trees and wildflowers and are simply marked with a rustic stone or wooden plaque. Each grave is marked with a microchip so it can be identified by future generations.

For families who prefer a natural, quiet setting, woodland Muslim burial plots can be aligned to Qibla on request so practice is respected throughout.

Within our Muslim burial ground, the Gardens of Noor is a dedicated area for Lawaari (unclaimed) burials. This service is exclusively for charitable use and supports those who pass without family, friends or funds. Arrangements are handled with the same care as every burial here: Qibla orientation is guaranteed, with on-site Ghusl and Kafan, and Janazah available in our covered outdoor area or at the graveside.

The Gardens of Noor is offered at a reduced charitable rate; please enquire for details so we can confirm eligibility and availability.

Hussain Hashim Memorial Grounds

A carefully maintained part of our Muslim Burial Ground set aside for the Muslim community. Muslim burial plots here are Qibla-oriented, with a marker at the cemetery indicating the direction.

Burial may take place in a shroud or a coffin. Family members can put the soil back in the grave themselves (backfilling). Permitted memorials include marble headstones or marble plaques for shroud burials (rules provided at booking).

Our cemetery staff meet with all families so that individuals’ needs and requests can be understood and respected.

The Private Family Gardens provide a more secluded setting where loved ones can rest close together within our Muslim burial ground. These Muslim burial plots keep faithful practice at the centre : Qibla orientation, choice of shroud or coffin, and family backfilling if desired , with permitted memorials confirmed at booking. Private Family Gardens are available with two, three, four, five or six graves grouped together. Memorials in these gardens can be up to 7’ (2133 mm) in length and 3’ (915 mm) in width. Each grave can accommodate two coffin burials and up to six sets of ashes.
